Classification of wire ropes:
According to the purpose of the wire rope, the wire rope is divided into the main hoisting winch wire rope, the balance wire rope, and the small winch wire rope.
 
Wire rope suspension and inspection:
1. The use and management of new wire ropes must comply with the following regulations:
1) After the main hoisting wire rope arrived, the user will intercept the sample, the transportation department will fill in the inspection authorization form according to the technical parameters, and the supply company will send the sample for performance inspection; after the small winch wire rope arrived, the supply company will send the sample for performance inspection. After passing the test, the supplier should keep it properly for backup to prevent damage or rust.
2) The original materials such as the factory certificate and acceptance inspection report of each wire rope should be kept intact by the supply company.
3) For steel wire ropes that have been stored for more than 1 year, the user must intercept the sample before hanging, the transportation department fills in the inspection authorization form according to the technical parameters, and the supply company sends the sample for performance testing. Only after passing the test can it be used. When the safety factor of the steel wire rope is less than the provisions of Article 408 of "Coal Mine Safety Process", the steel wire rope shall not be used.
2. The inspection of the wire rope in use shall comply with the following provisions:
1) The winding type hoisting wire rope for lifting personnel or lifting personnel and materials shall be inspected every 6 months since the suspension is used; the wire rope suspending the hanging plate shall be inspected every 12 months; The first performance inspection must be carried out within 12 months of hoisting the wire rope, and the inspection will be carried out every 6 months thereafter. During the inspection, the user is responsible for sampling, filling in the inspection power of attorney, and after being reviewed by the Transportation Department, the supplier will send it for inspection.
3) When the wire rope in use is regularly inspected and the rope sample is taken, the hoisting wire rope of the inclined shaft should be intercepted from the upper part of the wedge-shaped connection device, and the length of the rope sample should not be less than 2m. To ensure the accuracy of the calibration, care should be taken not to cause the sample to be mechanically damaged. .
3. The main hoisting device must have a alternative wire rope that has passed the inspection.
4. Friction type hoisting wire ropes, balance wire ropes, and wire ropes specially used for hoisting materials in inclined lanes and whose diameter is not greater than 18mm, have product qualification certificates and inspection reports, etc., if there is no corrosion and damage in appearance inspection, performance inspection may not be carried out.
5. The safety factor of the wire rope in use must comply with the provisions of the "Coal Mine Safety Regulations".
Wire rope replacement:
1. When the steel wire rope is subjected to strong pulling force such as jamming during operation, it must be stopped immediately for inspection. If one of the following situations is found, the stressed section must be chopped off or the whole rope must be replaced:
1) The wire rope is severely twisted or deformed.
2) The broken wire exceeds the provisions of the "Coal Mine Safety Regulations".
3) The diameter reduction exceeds the provisions of the "Coal Mine Safety Regulations".
4) The length of a section subjected to violent tension is elongated by more than 0.5%.
2. When the following situations occur, the wire rope must be replaced:
1) When the steel wire rope is seriously corroded, or pitted pits form trenches, or the outer steel wire is loose, no matter how many broken wires or whether the rope diameter changes;
2) The broken wire of the wire rope increases suddenly or the elongation suddenly accelerates;
3) When the wire breakage rate of the wire rope reaches or exceeds 10% within a lay length;
4) When the diameter shrinkage of the wire rope reaches or exceeds 10%.
5) The wire rope breaking rate of lifting personnel reaches or exceeds 5%, the wire rope breaking rate of lifting materials reaches or exceeds 10%, and the wire rope breaking rate of infinite rope winch reaches 25%.
6) The safety factor calculated based on the total breaking force of qualified steel wires is lower than the provisions of Article 408 of the "Coal Mine Safety Regulations".
3. Article 412 of "Coal Mine Safety Regulations" stipulates: the service life of steel wire rope: the service life of the hoisting wire rope of the friction hoist is two years from the date of suspension, and the service life of the balance wire rope is four years from the date of suspension. The service life of the steel wire ropes for suspending water pumps and rock grabbers is one year from the date of hanging, and the service life for the steel wire ropes for hanging air pipes, feed pipes, safety ladders and cables is one year from the date of hanging. Wire ropes that have expired should be stopped and replaced.
4. When the performance inspection of various inclined lane hoisting wire ropes fails, they should be stopped immediately and replaced.
Use and maintenance of wire rope
1. The wire rope should be uncoiled correctly. When the wire rope is uncoiled, it is necessary to avoid the kink of the wire rope, which will reduce the strength and cause damage. When the wire rope is cut, it should be tied tightly to prevent loosening.
2. The wire rope shall not be overloaded, and shall not work under impact load, and the speed should be stable during work.
3. When bundling or hoisting objects, the wire rope should avoid direct contact with the sharp corners and edges of the object, and should be padded with wood blocks, linen or other pads at the contact.
4. The wire rope should avoid kinking during use. Once it is kinked, it should be straightened immediately. In use, the number of bending should be minimized, and multiple bending in forward and reverse directions should be avoided as much as possible.
5. When the wire rope is used with the drum or pulley, the diameter of the drum or pulley should be at least 16 times larger than the diameter of the steel wire rope. Do not pass through the damaged pulley, so as not to wear the wire rope or make the rope come off the pulley, causing an accident.
6. When the wire rope passes through the pulley, the good match of the wire rope and the sheave must be ensured. Generally, the ratio of the diameter of the pulley groove to the diameter of the wire rope is 1-2.5mm. If the diameter of the pulley groove is too large, the rope will be easily crushed; if it is too small, the rope will be easily worn.
7. For the wire rope in use, anti-corrosion measures should be taken according to the conditions of the well and the rust, and the wire rope should be oiled regularly (oil on every nine). And to prevent mud and sand, prevent performance degradation caused by wire rope wear, corrosion or rust.
8. It is strictly forbidden that the steel wire rope is often drenched in water or soaked in water.
9. The steel wire ropes are neatly arranged on the drum, without climbing or biting the rope. Regularly check the pulleys, guide sheaves, pressing sheaves, sheaves and other accessories and wire rope components, and ensure that they rotate flexibly. For sleepers, rails, lanes, etc., when the winch is not running, the hook head should be placed in the hook head frame closest to the winch to avoid aggravating the corrosion of the wire rope.
10. Before use, choose a wire rope with an appropriate diameter according to the use situation; during use, check its load capacity and damage frequently; maintain it in time after use, and place it in a clean and dry place after coiling. Prevent sprains.
11. All kinds of winches that do not have a hoisting yard: the multi-layer winding hoisting wire ropes with lifting tasks must be chopped quarterly; the multi-layer winding hoisting wire ropes with lifting tasks must be chopped at least once every six months. ; Other multi-layer wound hoisting wire ropes that are used less frequently must be chopped at least once a year. When chopping the rope, place the hook head at the upper slope change point, chop off the wire rope hook head from the vicinity of the drum, the length of the chopped wire rope hook head should be no less than 5m, redo the hook head, and replace the heart ring and safety rope.
12. The multi-layer winding winch (East No. 1, West No. 1, West No. 2, etc.) frequently used in each shift is the container parking position of the steel wire rope, the upper and lower layers of the multi-layer winding critical section (equivalent to 1/4 of the length of the rope loop) Parts) and sections with broken wires and serious corrosion, should be stopped regularly for detailed inspection, and the rope adjustment must be carried out every quarter to adjust the winding position of the wire rope on the winch drum, and the length of the rope adjustment should not be less than one-quarter of the time. For the circumference of the rope ring, the hoisting wire rope head should be replaced at least every six months; other multi-layer winding hoisting wire ropes should be replaced once a year.
13. The wire ropes of the infinite rope winches (East Wing Track Inclined Lane) with lifting tasks must be adjusted quarterly; the wire ropes of other infinite rope winches that are used less frequently must be adjusted at least once every six months. Fixed position adjustment. When adjusting, pull out and chop off the rope head side, and the length of each rope position adjustment shall not be less than 2m.
