How to identify the quality of wire rope?


Wire rope generally used in the construction work, so it's very strict quality requirements of steel wire rope.


1. The steel wire rope core :the same diameter of wire rope  PP core (synthetic fiber) is better than sisal, sisal is better than jute, jute and better than the flax yarn, hemp yarn is better than pure yarn.because greater the density,the wire rope toughness and braced force  will be greater,can make the wire rope to keep the original mechanical properties.from pp core to yarn is from high to low (but exception is: pp core relative to the proportion of lighter).

2. Wire rope density: in the same diameter of wire rope,the density higher ,the quality will be better,that is to say,if the heavier weight per meter,the wire rope will be better.


3. Packing quality: the packing has nothing to do with and wire rope quality,but with wire rope storage transportation,good packaging will not make wire rope messy,won't make wire rope should not be some stress.Poor quality of the wooden tray in the process of transportation damage,often resulting in wire rope messy finally cannot be used or affect use.


4. The steel wire rope structure: the same diameter,appropriate structure used in the right place.

5. Wire rope strength: the higher the strength, the breaking force will be higher,but the toughness will be drops,keep toughness drops,can only improve the quality of raw materials.the internal wire,wire rope with the same tensile strength,become the important use wire rope,general purpose internal steel wire rope to allowed mixing tensile strenght when manufacturing.
